The video game industry has been growing exponentially over the last couple of decades, and many new developers appeared during that time. Today, with all the global pandemic crisis, most of us have been forced to stay at our homes for extended periods. And what better thing to do at home than play video games solo or with your family.
So if you are a hard-core gamer or just someone who wants to unwind and relax with some video games, you came to the right place. We made a list of our top video games you should look forward to in 2021.
Hitman 3
The Hitman series is a stealth-based game that IO Interactive has developed. It is a multiplatform game and is playable on Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. This is the 8th main installment in the game series, with the final entry being the so-called World of Assassination trilogy. This trilogy started with the 2016 released Hitman, then going on to 2018 released Hitman 2 and finishing it off with the 2021 Hitman 3.
Hitman 3 will be more appealing to those who like single-player games that require perfect timing and sneakiness through the game levels.
The game is mainly based on terminating the bad guys while trying to go through the levels without being detected or caught – the sneakier, the better. Hitman 3 has seen a big step up in graphics and mechanics, and this release won’t disappoint the players – it seems that IO Interactive will wow Hitman fans once again.
Halo Infinite
Halo is a first-person shooter game that has been around since 2001 when the first title, Halo: Combat Evolved, was released. Since 2001 there were 14 games released in total, and the new release Halo Infinite will follow Halo 5’s storyline. The latest version is still an exclusive game for Xbox and can be played on Windows, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. All in all, Halo Infinite is a military science fiction shooter that is going to be perfect for those of you who prefer Xbox over PlayStation and are into first-person shooters.
Resident Evil Village
The Resident Evil series is a survival-based horror game, and this release won’t be anything different. Resident Evil Village will follow up on Resident Evil 7’s storyline and is going to be the 10th major installment in the game series. The new thing added is an online multiplayer mode that we haven’t seen in the series jet. If you love horror movies and games, we suggest you give this game a shot when it hits the shelves in 2021.
